well I have them, but IE is not configured to use them. IE is actually 
uncofigured as I prefer MozFB when I am forced to use win.

But I think I misunderstood this thread...
I was spekaing about IE default settings, compared to konq defaults. And 
not about setting up IE to use the same fonts as konq, and then compare 
both...
