[PATH] Improve icons layout

This patch should improve the layout of icons while thumbnails are being 
generated. The main idea is to make sure that the initial icons are large 
enough for items that will be previewed, which removes the need to update the 
view. It also corrects the layout problems which occur when you increase or 
decrease the icon size.
The performance cost is very low (the pixmaps to be previewed are not read, 
only the mime types). It should actually be faster with the patch because you 
don't need to update the view anymore (the 500ms timer is not needed 
anymore). Of course there won't be any difference when previews are disabled 
or if the option "Increase size of previews relative to icons" is not 
enabled.
