If you have to search a lot it's really a time saving matter. 

Imagine you have no konq started, alt-f2 + shortcut is enough to get a results-window.

At least you save the time to first load the relevant search site...

Well, I'll see, that I post them, maybe they are useful enough. :-)

Hm, thinking about an upload at kde-apps.org/improvements...
