[PATCH] Usability fixes

Attached is another patch for 85925.  This one doesn't include any new
messages or GUI additions.  It also works more reliably (thanks
Waldo).

I don't seem to be able to use my CVS account any more, so until I get
a response from sysadmin, can someone else commit these for me?

Ok.  It would be interesting to find out why - I don't really see
anything that could cause a problem, especially if the patch is only
applied to Konqueror.
