Anyhew .. to the point.

SORT BY DATE !  <RANT>  

I did ask this question early last year and was largely ignored. So I
will ask again !


I've been using konqueror for 2 years now, i'm using 3.1-13 Redhat

Its looking good these days, but the lack of sort by date drives me up
the wall !!!!  I have to drop into a shell, do "ls -tr" when I want to
find the latest file.

I have arhives of images from a camera system - they are 300 per folder
... whats the use of sorting by name the filenames are index numbers
from the application ! 

When I download a large number of files, whats the last file I
downloaded ? Or the first ? What videos have completed on my piracy
download tool ?  Whats the newest source file in a project ? The list is
ENDLESS ! ............

Come on guys, even windows got this right .... even Gnome got this right
- why not kde ? What makes you special ? Is this a political thing - it
cant be a technical thing ! Or maybe i'm out of data and its in the new
version ?!

I welcome any comments
