another good reason from from my perspective, i'm planning to add
a feature "undo last tab close" for 3.3 (yeah. i forgot to add it
to the features list..) and having pressed ctrl-w a few many times
on a few many occasions i really don't like the idea of loosing.
umm.. maybe i should just add a "last closed windows" section to
the history sidebar?, that would be much easier than the undoing
of last closed tab, and not that much less useful. oh, and way less
confusing, and it can provide for a few situations that the undo
can't (e.g, when you wish to get the last but one its a bit stupid
to undo twice and then close)
actually, the history sidebar sucks from what i saw of it last
time i tried - for example, still no division by day/week ;
something that i know most IE users *really* miss. i'll stick a
rewrite on my 3.3 list.
Thomas, while you're in the thread anyways would you mind
commenting on the history sidebar and share any possible ui
improvement ideas you have? ;-)
thanks,
babbling Alex
