Thanks. I saw something about frames in the docs:
"You may also wish to disable external references. This will prevent KHTML 
from loading images, frames, etc, or redirecting to external sites. 
w->setOnlyLocalReferences(true);"

...and thought that this or something similar could be used, but now I realize 
that it simply disables loading of the frame sources.
