crashing crypto module

It appears that in the past couple weeks that the ssl modules is causing
kcmshell to crash. Wisiting sites that use SSL also cause it to crash
thus somehow causing the cookie facility to also fail. 

At first I thought it was my build because nobody else had reported this
so I cleared my CVS folders, re checked out all of the KDE modules and
made a fresh build of KDE. 

The problem is, it is still failing. 

Any advice is welcome.
