"Clear Location Bar" Shouldn't stop download

I guess this was added in purpose as a "feature" but it's completely 
unintuitive and it's not coherent with the normal behavior.

(In CVS Head) Whenever I press the "Clear Location Bar" button, the 
downloading process is stopped. I wonder why, since this doesn't happen if I 
just type a new address. So, I cannot clear it, but I can type it? Not very 
intuitive.

In this (my) case, the user didn't want to stop the download. The intention 
here is to clear the bar, and go typing for the *next* search.
