But it means polling (i.e. using lots of CPU) which is stupid on normal hard 
disk partitions (which will never get unmounted while KDE is up).
Performance-wise, DNOTIFY is much better than the other solutions.

But if we say "we could detect "umount"able partitions and not use DNOTIFY on
them", we're back to "how to detect such partitions...
