antialias size range exception not respected

Like many people, I have a size range exception for antialiasing in XftConfig:

match any size > 7 any size < 13 edit antialias = false;

I like it that way. However, KHTML doesn't respect that exception: all fonts
are antialiased, whatever their size. If I turn off antialiasing altogether,
the fonts are not antialiased in KHTML. I say KHTML because it really applies
to the KHTML part. For example, when I read a mail in Kmail the same problem
happens.

I have experienced this problem from 3.0.x to 3.1-rc6. I can't remember if it
worked correctly in the 2.x series. I tried playing with font sizes by either
zooming in/out and also by changing the default/minimum font sizes, but it
didn't do anything: fonts are always antialiased, whatever their size.

I am running on Red Hat 7.3, so if it's a known distro problem that might
help. ;)

BTW: gratz on Safari! And from what I see, changes are being merged in really
quickly!
