This patch fixes the emission of the caretPositionChanged signal for each
mouse move (which is a big waste of cycles because the caretPositionChanged
is emitted in the mouseRelease handler anyway).
Then it also improves the caret position recalculation only to be done if it
is needed (i. e. the caret is visible).
Nicolas, could you try the patch and tell me if it breaks selection in kafka?
Maybe kafka relies on caretPositionChanged during mouseMove (it seemed to
work for me when I tested it).
