Aliases

I would very much like to use URL aliases in Konqueror, much like /etc/hosts 
but protocol and web address based, rather than only IP based...so I could 
type in 'bank' and automatically be taken to http://www.wachovia.com/
myaccounts.

Is there currently a way to do this or is it feasible to add?
