Fwd: konqueror feature help

Hi all,
I would like to add an usability feature on konqueror navigation tree panel.

It simple: if enabled, navigation panel shows with a color gradient the
expanded tree in order of dir size.

I would like to ask you in which source file I can start investigating to add
such feature.
