Background images not displayed ?

Hi!
  Maybe I missed something, I was for three weeks out of my mail and I didn't
read all the list traffic during that period.
  Now I can't see any background images in konqueror/khtml. Even the gear in
the konqueror about page isn't there. I tried to find a new config option
for swithching these images on/off but I failed. Is it just a temporary bug,
or am I doing something wrong ?
  Please sorry for the stupid question.
