As you realized it, this is a well-known problem. Actually, there are
2 problems: the absence of print margins, and the page breaks. The 
print margins problem has been solved and should be available in 3.1.
The page break problem is however not so easy to solve. But even if
the result doesn't look perfect (with lines cut-off), you don't loose
any content as each page top overlaps a little bit the bottom of the
previous one. Nevertheless, I'll forward your bug to the development
mailing list.
