Konq and progressive loading of images (was Re: kde 3.1 -- make Keramik default?)

If I view this in Konq from what is approximately 3.0.1, I see how only 
the last chunk of the image is shown, while the rest is hidden.

The effect is like when you look at a picture through a slim gap and 
move it jerkily downwards.

Sometimes, I get this with the globe on Kmail's about/intorduction page, 
too.

It doesn't matter whether or not the pic comes from cache, from the net 
or from a local file.
