[Kexi] Can Kexi store formatted text (rich text) in a text field?

Hello all, I have a very simple database to put together.  One of the 
fields needs to contain several paragraphs formatted text (bolded, 
italics, various fonts and sizes).  I'm using a mysql back end, but I'm 
not committed to that.  I just discovered that OpenOffice Base is not 
capable of this feat.  I'm interested in finding a working, free, 
alternative.
