[Kexi] opening 1.1.2 in 1.1.3

What do you mean by formatting? What exactly has disappeared for you: table, 
query, forms?

As you noticed this not data loss. Could you send me a small database that 
worked with 1.1.2 and not with 1.1.3?
Ideally I would need access to computer having this problem to debug it.

Maybe you can try to run the app from command line, collect the output and 
send it to me?:

$ kexi yourdb.kexi 2> kexi.log
