[Kexi] (no subject)

Hi,

I just installed kexi in the hope of finding a Access like program that I 
could run on Linux.
I found kexi and installed it.
So far, it looks good. It has forms, queries and tables. That's all I need.
However, I checked this list and a few monts ago there was no way of making 
the default value for a date/time field the current (system) time/date.
Has this already changed ?
If not, is there an alternate solution to assign timestamps to records ?
