That's the correct behaviour.  That's all there is in that database.

If you provide an error message, I'll have a look.

Sure.  Packages of the driver exist for Kubuntu and FreeBSD at least.
I haven't kept track of which other distributions provide packages.

Then just use the "Import Existing Database" feature in the startup 
dialog box.
