[Kexi] Problems with using Kexi with Mysql

Hmm, please read the relevant points of FAQ more carefully. In A4.2 we stated:

"For Kexi 2.x there is also plan to allow displaying externally-created tables 
in Kexi interface without 'importing' them, i.e. linking them. This will lead 
to smaller functionality set available for these tables, but enable 
connections to existing (sometimes large) databases that are available as read 
only. The feature would be usable especially for advanced users who know what 
they are doing."

So we have fully understanding of your needs, more: this is also our requirement.
