Hi Wojtek (and Karol). Good thing. Yes, working on the Qt 5 port is
the only reasonable direction towards Kexi on Mac OS X.

Porting has not started to Qt 5. Plan and status is kept at
https://community.kde.org/Kexi/Porting_to_Qt%26KF_5

Some advice: Many activities can happen simultaneously indeed, and at
some point when core part of Kexi compiles and links properly (i.e.
everything but plugins), Mac port can be tried.

At CMake level, if (APPLE), just like if (WIN32) can be used to skip
subdirectories that are either not needed or not yet ported to the
platform.

Developer(s) active in the Mac port automatically become maintainers
of the port :)
