KDevelop continuous activity?

I just noticed something new to me in the timing and resource usage summary that tcsh prints for apps that use more than some minimum amount of CPU time. From the last 2 sessions I quit (KDevelop 5.5.0):

> 112.854 user_cpu 15.907 kernel_cpu 7:06:27.17 total_time 0.5%CPU {674104M 41764F 361951R 571931I 4693425O 193988w 39542c}

> 147.668 user_cpu 20.662 kernel_cpu 13:28:24.51 total_time 0.3%CPU {307748M 27432F 355245R 751684I 2071606O 131915w 67767c}

The latter corresponds to a session that has only 2 projects containing tcl and patch files, so I don't let it load the majority of plugins and the clang parser should never run. I restarted that session this morning.

As you can see, something must remain running although at barely (if at all) more than idling.

Has anyone else noticed something like this?

Thanks,
R.

PS: on somewhat related note: where does the kdevelo:disk$0 thread come from that am seeing nowadays?
