Kdevplatform compile error

Gentoo forced a rebuild of Kdevplatform 1.7.1 because of the removal of 
Soprano. I now get this error:

This a known Qt bug reported in 2012. I am using Qt 4.8.7 so why has this bug 
suddenly sprung up?
