Hey,

You are being a bit unclear what the actual issue is. So, if I understand 
correctly: KDevelop does not start the debugger correctly?

I have no clue about the "auto-load safe-path" issue. Can you show any 
references / error messages?

Please also check the debug output if there's anything interesting. (Be sure 
to enable the debugger log area using 'kdebugdialog').
