kdevelop hangs when searching for new documentation

Not I, I just installed Project Neon5 while it was still maintained (and kept it up to date). From what I know I followed the right procedure to build and install things into the Neon5 tree (using neon5-exec and neon5-cmake).
The weird thing is that apparently the knsregistry files was created in one place at some point, presumably by an earlier kdevelop version I had installed, which is not the location where it's supposed to be anymore.
Question is also, why did the current kdevelop instance not create a new knsregistry in the place it expects it in?

All that probably isn't very important (and more of a FYI nature) because Project Neon5 has been discontinued ...
