 I think that KDevelop, as a tool,  should either do the right thing or just don't do the wrong thing to mislead the user. This is a quite serious problem. 

Will this problem be resolved in fulture, anyone knows it?
 

below is an example, in which MACRO_IN_MK is defined by adding parameter -DMACRO_IN_MK  to CXXFLAGS.
 Has anyone noticed this?

 What build system are you using? CMake? Makefile directly?


 This is definitely a problem to be fixed, but we need to be able to trace it properly.
Can you please open a bug in http://bugs.kde.org? There we'll work with you to solve your problem.
