unable to start kdevelop :(

Yesterday as I quit the kdevelop, I immediately reboot the machine.
Now I am not able to start kdevelop because it says:

Failed to lock the session , probably it is already active in another
running instance

I have rebooted and no process named "kdevelop" exists. So I wonder
why I get this error.

Seems that a lock file is some where and because of that shutdown the
lock has not been removed.

What should I do?
