Wish: it would be helpful if UI signals when a file is in read only mode

I'm using Kdevelop compiled from git on branch master.

When a file is in Read-Only mode (Editor > Tools > Read Only mode)
there is no changes in the UI, nor in the tab, nor in the title.

A colleague of mine (who has never used this function and have
probably activated it inadvertently) cannot realize why he cannot edit
a file.

Kate have the very same behavior, so I don't know if there is
something you can do about it in kdevelop.
