project on an smb share

Hi,

I'm beginning to use kdevelop (4.2.2) as a succesfull replacement for 
netbeans.

The only problem I have at the moment is that any right click on a file 
that's on a smb/cifs share takes 5-10 seconds to display the context 
menu. During this time the smb server has a high load, which falls down 
as soon as the menu appears.

I was also wondering how it could be possible to extend kdevelop 
possibilities (eg: completion for JS, in XBL).
