no change in background color

Hi Milian,
I found something.... if I run "sudo kdevelop" from konsole, then I can see the 
changed color however by running just "kdevelop" in the konsole, I can not 
chnage the color. I think my user can not write the modified 
configuration because of write permission. If I know where the configuration is 
written by kdevelop then I change use chmod fo fix that.

Any idea about that?

configure -> fonts & colors ->  "text area background: normal text" or similar 
(in the colors tab).
