Mercurial plugin not working

KDevelop Beta 3 from latest trunk. The plugin builds and loads fine, 
but when I try a "Right Click Project|Mercurial|Commit" I get a error 
dialog.

"Kompare Model Update- KDevelop"
"could not open diff file://tmp/kde-lindsay/kdevelopXXXXXX.patch on"

The file in question does seem to exist with valid content. After I 
click Ok it switches to the Revision tab.

The subversion plugin works fine.
