One last question.... How do I install.
When I do this:
rpm -i gdb-6.6-21.1.x86_64.rpm
I get this:
file /usr/bin/gdb from install of gdb-6.6-21.1 conflicts with
file from package gdb-6.5-15.fc6
file /usr/bin/gdbserver from install of gdb-6.6-21.1 conflicts
with file from package gdb-6.5-15.fc6
file /usr/bin/gdbtui from install of gdb-6.6-21.1 conflicts with
file from package gdb-6.5-15.fc6
file /usr/bin/gstack from install of gdb-6.6-21.1 conflicts with
file from package gdb-6.5-15.fc6
file /usr/share/info/annotate.info.gz from install of
gdb-6.6-21.1 conflicts with file from package gdb-6.5-15.fc6
file /usr/share/info/gdb.info.gz from install of gdb-6.6-21.1
conflicts with file from package gdb-6.5-15.fc6
file /usr/share/info/gdbint.info.gz from install of gdb-6.6-21.1
conflicts with file from package gdb-6.5-15.fc6
file /usr/share/info/stabs.info.gz from install of gdb-6.6-21.1
conflicts with file from package gdb-6.5-15.fc6
Should I uninstall gdb-6.6-21.1 first? I get similar results when I
try to install KDevelop
rpm -i kdevelop-3.4.1-32.1.x86_64.rpm
only the list of conflicts if much longer.
Thanks,
Ed
