Default tab changed

Thanks a lot for reply, Volodya.
Is it possible to make this a parameter? I really suffer from this as a lot of  
time I work in gdb window - I have a download script which I need to watch, 
many "ptint" or "x" command to issue.

I shall be really glad if it may be a part of some configure.

P.S. BTW, can I help somehow with the bug 148614 I reported (crash).
