The Google Summer of Code 2006 program (http://code.google.com/) has started! 
Applications are being accepted now. The deadline for applications is 8th May.

Let's not miss the fun this year and implement some cool stuff

If you're a student, KDevelop user - just apply for one of the KDevelop
projects mentioned on the wiki or propose your own. Many KDevelop developers
will be pleased to help you and be your mentor.
