KDevelop crashes with "reformat source"

KDevelop is now crashing whenever i perform edit->reformat source on a  
particular file in my project. 
 
I have been doing this many a time before but now it always crashes. It  
works fine with other files in the project too. It used to work with this  
file before; the only difference i see with this file now and before is its

size. The file has now grown to over 2500 lines. 
 
Any idea why this happens? KDevelop also crashes soon as i enable the  
documentation plugin. I would really like to have this plugin instead of  
having kdev assistant open a separate window. 
 
I am running KDevelop 3.3 using KDE 3.5.1 with kubuntu amd64 binary  
installs.
