New to list : Hello everyone

Greetings,


I need a simple sample of how to use the kleds in kdevelop,

I am not a programmer as such but would like to learn, and have spent a
lot of time creating apps from the kdevelop tutorial.

The app I would like to create will simply let me know via green light
or red if a network connection exists.

So basically if I get a ping response every 2 minutes the light kled
stays green and if i don't it goes red and send me an email or sms.

Could someone here spare a bit of time to giude me through this little
app.
