Error while linking

I just installed:
fpc-1.9.8-0.i586.rpm
fpcsrc-1.9.8-050225.i386.rpm
lazarus-0.9.6-fpc_1.9.8_0.i386.rpm

On my Suse 9.2 box.  When I start a new project and then just try to 
compile and run the default form I get:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgdk_pixbuf
project1.lpr(14,1) Error: Error while linking
