"No rule to make target `dist'" Error

Hi all,

How do I make a distribution from my KDevelop project?
 
When I run tools -> Project dist. and pub. I get this error:

        No rule to make target `dist'

I am running KDevelop 3.0.3 with FC1.

If this is broken in KDevelop, how do I do it from a command line?   Any 
URLs I could read?   The Makefile in ./debug/src has complete paths in 
it, so it would not work for another user or on another machine.

I could try upgrading, but I would like a tarball before I upgrade in 
case the upgrade fails.
