'make dist' and kde automake project in kdevelop3

Hi,

I'm having some trouble making distributions for kde projects in kdevelop 
3.0.4. E.g. when issuing the command from the debug or optimized 
configuration, the command returns with the complaint that make can't find 
the admin/am_edit script. 

The only way to successfully make a distribution, from my perspective, is to 
change to the default configuration in kdevelop and then issue 'make dist'. 

But it would be nice to be able to make a distribution from any given 
configuration, but I cannot see how this can be done.
