making distribution tarballs?

Sorry to bother the list with this, but believe it or not, some decetn
searching didnt find my answer.

I'm new to Kdevelop 3x, how do you make a distribution tarball with it? 
It was obvious in 2.x, but i dont see an option anywhere in 3.x....
