Put Src-Files to another directory

Hello,
is it possible to put the source-files to another directory than the project files? I have seen only possibilites to put the build-directory to another tree
Is the following directory structure possible?
---|
   |- ProjectFile1
   |- ProjectFile
   |- src
   |  |- File1.h
   |  |- File1.cpp
   |- build
      |-Makefile

How can I modify the template for file names, which are newly generated?
