Error: Create io-slave, Klauncher said 'Unknown protocol'

Hi all,

I upgraded (yum)  from 3.0.3 to 3.1 and KDE, which is now 3.3, was 
hosed.   In case anyone else sees this error, here is the problem/fix:

/var/tmp/kdecache-<user name> was owned by root.   It should be owned by 
me.   chown/chgrp fixed it.
