Latest 3.1 doesnt run after upgrade

OK, I unstalled the 3.0 and then then re-installed
3.1. However, I cannot see the Kdevelop icon in my
APPLICATIONs menu (Mandrake 10.0)

Kdevelop  3.0 was showing up here. how do I include it
for me to be able to run in from the menu
