Kdevelop not compiling

I am using gentoo most current kdevelop. Everything looks nice, but
doesnt seem to compile, and since I am not used to kdevelop I am not
sure if it is kicking back any errors. I used to use anjuta, but almost
the same thing happens on anjuta, only with that I get errors, something
about automake. I am not sure what I should be looking for
