Which class is responsible for project files

Hi,

I'd like to use xml-type project files for my app and therefore I want
to have a look at how kdevelop reads and writes it's project files.
So which class handles this? Is there a kde-mechanism for something
like that? (I know QDomDocument exists, but I thought maybe KDE has
its own stuff for that...)
