how to add translations

No I'm using debians package, as I had some problems with HEAD. Anyway
I tried to add the 

AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(%{APPNAMELC},%{VERSION}) to configure.in.in and reran
automake&co and configure. This changed something, running create
messages&merge is now called with PACKAGE=%{APPNAMELC}, unfortunately
this still doesn't work correct, as now make tries to find
%{APPNAMELC}.pot in the po dir....

The above is the only difference between my project and the templates
of kdevelop HEAD for admin dir and configure.in.in....

Thanks for being so patient, I'll give kdevelop HEAD another try and
report...
