Failing on Running KDevelop

Now that I've got KDevelop compiled, I decided to run it. KDevelop fails
immediately with the following error:

kdevelop: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/kde3/libkdevfilecreate.so: undefined
symbol: _ZN17ConfigWidgetProxy23createProjectConfigPageERK7QStringj

Given that all my library settings are set fine, I'm just wondering why
KDevelop feels the need to go off and find an out of date library in my
vanilla KDE install. Yes I know I could take the path out, but should it be
necessary considering that I do have other software on my system?

Taking the path to this directory out solves this, but then I get multiple
similar errors with other libraries. Removing these solved it, but I had to
remove a subversion so, a cvsservice so and a libkdevdoctreeview so before it
would run. Interestingly, the old KDevelop 3.0 that installed these libraries
still seemed to work fine without them!

I think it might be useful to identify these stale libraries, as there are
those of us that still have older stable KDEs and KDevelops, and older stalle
libraries are causing problems for newer installs.

Cheers,

David
