static linking

Hi
About libraries again, but statics ones this time
How can I link staticaly with openssl, I've got the libssl.a, but where
I set KDevelop for staticaly linking?
I'm using 

-L/usr/local/ssl/lib/ -static -lssl -dinamic -lrest_of_the_libs

But nothing, I've read man pages from gcc and ld and and GCC manual from
gcc.gnu.org and -static / -dynamis is all I've found.

I'll appretiate your help/time once more :D
